drawings made by Pablo Picasso in Royan, France, between 30 May 1940 and 22 August 1940, which were once contained in a notebook. It also presents studies made by the artist in Paris on February 19, 1942. Picasso took refugee in Royan from September 1939 to August 1940 after fleeing Paris for fear of wartime bombing.
