Russian-French painter-engraver. Chagall’s art is a mixture of Jewish and Russian tradition, as well as the influence of Fauvism and Cubism.

The following elements can also be found in his paintings: childhood, love, religion, color and the destruction of forms. He is both a biblical and religious painter, but also a painter of Paris, his childhood village, the circus and lovers. He is recognized throughout the world and exhibited in the world’s greatest museums.
