DUFY Raoul
(1877 – 1953)
French painter, drawer, engraver.
He was very impressed by Fauvism and its warm colors. He painted the sea, the countryside, the racecourses, the sailing events, always in soothing and cheerful colors. He is the author of “La Fée Electricité” : the largest painting in the world exhibited at the Paris’ Museum of Modern Art . He is recognized and exhibited in the greatest museums of the world.
