ARP Jean

(1886 – 1966)

French naturalized German painter, sculptor and poet.
He is at the origin of the “Dada movement” and is close to the Surrealism. Sculpture takes an important place in his work.  He was in contact with the great artists of his time such as Kandinsky, Tristan Tzara, Paul Eluard, Klee, Magnelli, Mondrian, Helion Herbin.
